I am selling my Costco Reward Gift Certificates with total value of $154.40. I received one for $143.97 at the end of my membership and never got a chance to use it. The other, for $10.43, I received after to entice me into joining again. I called customer service to check if they are transferable, and they confirmed that they are valid for anyone I sign them over to. You must be a member to use the certificates. You can use the full value of the certificates to make purchases at any Costco store in the U.S. If you want to use the certificates to make purchases on Costco.com you have to first use the certificates to purchase a cash card at the Costco store and then use that cash card online. The terms and conditions are pasted below: The Reward may be used toward purchases of most merchandise through the front-end registers at Costco warehouses in the U.S. Rewards may be used toward purchases of merchandise only; they have no independent cash value outside of Costco. In the U.S., Reward certificates may not be used: (i) toward purchases of certain merchandise such as alcohol, cigarettes or tobacco-related products; (ii) toward purchases that are not recorded through Costco’s front-end registers, such as purchases at gas stations, Food Courts, and online at costco.com; (iii) as payment on Costco Credit Card accounts; (iv) on purchases of services, such as travel and auto; (v) where prohibited by law or regulation; or (vi) on certain other categories as determined at Costco’s discretion. Reward certificates will not be replaced if lost or stolen. I will start the bidding at less than half the value of the certificates. You get over $75 of free purchases.
